Cost transparency only works if you can trust the numbers. Here is exactly how we research, review, and maintain everything you read on MedSpa One.

Our cost figures are modeled, not guessed

Every dollar figure on this site comes from a single internal pricing model, calibrated to public 2026 benchmarks: ASPS and AmSpa average-fee data, published med spa menu pricing, RealSelf cost pages, and manufacturer per-unit norms. We publish honest ranges, never a single lowball number, because real aesthetic pricing swings with injector experience, product brand, units or sessions used, and metro cost of living.

Because a treatment page, its cost guide, our city pages, and the quiz all read from the same model, the numbers can never disagree with each other. Regional figures apply a documented metro cost-of-living index to the national range; they are estimates, not quotes.

We cite evidence and use precise language

We distinguish 'FDA-approved' from 'FDA-cleared' accurately per device and injectable, and we avoid absolute claims, no 'painless,' 'permanent,' or 'guaranteed' outcomes. Risk sections are written to be honest, not reassuring by omission; the rare complications are named, because informed consent is the point.

Where we describe procedures, longevity, and side effects, we reflect current clinical consensus and manufacturer guidance. We do not publish fabricated reviews, testimonials, or before-and-after photographs.

Every YMYL page is medically reviewed

Treatment, cost, and safety content is reviewed by Alana Whitfield, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner & Clinical Reviewer, for medical accuracy before it publishes. We keep content current

Cost guides are refreshed at least annually (the year lives in the page title and heading, not the URL, so refreshes don't break links), and pages carry a visible published and last-updated date. Our current data year is 2026. When pricing benchmarks, regulations, or clinical guidance change materially, we update the affected pages.

Independence and corrections

MedSpa One may be compensated by the licensed providers we connect you with, but that compensation never influences our cost ranges, rankings, or editorial content, which are prepared independently. We do not accept payment to alter a figure or recommend a specific provider in our education.

If you spot an error, tell us and we will investigate and correct it promptly. Accuracy is the foundation of the trust this site is built on.
