Medical disclaimer

Please read this carefully. It explains the educational nature of this site and the limits of what we do.

Not medical advice

The information on MedSpa One, including treatment descriptions, cost ranges, comparisons, safety guides, and quiz results, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified, licensed healthcare provider who can evaluate your individual situation.

Always seek the advice of a licensed physician or other qualified provider with any questions about a medical condition or a treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here.

We are not a medical provider

MedSpa One is an independent consumer education and referral service. We do not practice medicine, diagnose conditions, prescribe, treat, or perform any procedure, and we do not operate a clinic. All treatments described on this site are performed by independent, licensed professionals who are solely responsible for the care they provide.

Using this website, taking the quiz, or requesting a provider match does not create a doctor-patient or provider-patient relationship with us. Any such relationship is formed only between you and the licensed provider you choose.

No guaranteed results

Results from aesthetic treatments vary from person to person and depend on factors we cannot control, including your anatomy, the product or device used, the number of units or sessions, and the skill of your chosen provider. Nothing on this site guarantees any particular outcome. We do not use, and you should be skeptical of, absolute claims like 'painless,' 'permanent,' or 'risk-free.'

Regulatory language and off-label use

We aim to distinguish 'FDA-approved' from 'FDA-cleared' accurately for each device and injectable. Some treatments and uses discussed may be off-label; whether a specific use is appropriate for you is a medical decision for your licensed provider, not for this website.

Emergencies

This site is not for medical emergencies. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, for example, signs of a serious complication after a procedure such as severe or one-sided pain, skin that turns white or dusky, vision changes, or difficulty breathing, call 911 or your local emergency number, or contact your treating provider immediately.

Weight-loss and prescription programs

Content about medical weight loss and GLP-1 medications is educational only and is not a recommendation to use any medication. These are prescription treatments that require a medical evaluation, ongoing supervision, and monitoring by a licensed provider. Do not obtain or use prescription medication without appropriate medical oversight.
